Manitou telehandler hire in Harare
A Manitou MXT 1740 telehandler with a maximum rated capacity of 4 tonnes and a lifting height of around 17 metres. Hire it with a Baletta operator, or dry on the published rates. The capacity available on any lift depends on the load chart, the attachment and the configuration.
Rates
Per hour, minimum five hours per day. Dry is machine only. Wet is machine, operator and fuel.

Attachments
The right attachment is confirmed for each job. Not every attachment comes with every hire.
Standard and extended forks
Lifting and placing pallets and materials, within the load chart for the height and reach of the lift.
Two-person work basket
Available subject to approval for this machine and configuration, and used within the basket’s own limits. Tell us about the work and the site before booking.
Jib
For suitable slung loads, within the telehandler’s load chart for the jib. It does not turn the machine into a crane for every lift.
Panel lifter
For lifting and placing glass and similar panels on a building, within the load chart for the height and reach of the lift.

Hire questions
What do dry and wet mean?
Dry is the machine only: you supply the operator and the diesel. Wet is the machine, a Baletta operator and fuel in one hourly rate.
Can it lift 4 tonnes at full height?
No. 4 tonnes is the maximum rated capacity. The capacity available falls as the load goes higher or further out, and depends on the attachment. Each lift is planned against the machine’s load chart.
Is there a minimum?
Five hours a day. Weekly and monthly rates are lower per hour, so tell us the whole job.
Can it get onto a residential plot?
It is a wheeled machine that needs firm ground and space to set up. Send a photo of the access and the work area and we will check before booking.
Can I buy a telehandler from Baletta?
No. The telehandler is hire only. The excavators and the tractor are available to buy.
